The inclusion of a staircase that was constructed during occupancy by the tenant made this a very complex project to schedule, as the construction was regularly interrupted for necessary, but numerous inspections of fire alarm and other safety systems and issues. The unique configuration of the buildings floorplate determined the location of the staircase, and safety issues directed that the concrete could only be cut the weekend before the tenant occupied. The public areas of this development company are very spacious, with the work areas constantly undergoing staffing changes.
